This measures 680mm wide x 480mm deep x 1030mm high and weighs approximately 16Kg (size 1) or 17Kg (size 2).

Snazzi Pushchair User Manual The Snazzi includes a safety catch to prevent accidental folding of the chair in the event that both spring-loaded locking sliders did not engage fully when unfolding. The catch also helps reduce any small amount of movement in the frame when set up, improving comfort for the occupant.
Snazzi Pushchair User Manual 4.2 Brakes & Tyres To apply the brake, put your foot on the top of brake bar (labelled X) and push down as shown. The brake will rotate round against the wheels and lock in between the wheels and frame.
Snazzi Pushchair User Manual Tyres: As standard the Snazzi pushchair is supplied with solid tyres, however pneumatic tyres are also available as an option. If your pushchair is supplied with pneumatic tyres these need to be regularly checked and inflated if necessary using a hand or foot pump. The operating pressure for the tyres is 36 PSI (note: do not inflate the tyres above 36 PSI).

Snazzi Pushchair User Manual To reset the tilt mechanism, push (*or pull please see Note 1) the lever and push handle as shown (see Fig 4.3.3). Once in the desired position, release lever. For a 90- degree position, move the seat so the gas strut is fully open and it will not move any further before releasing the tilt lever.
Snazzi Pushchair User Manual 5.0: Setting up the seat unit When setting up the seat unit always ensure the following is done: • Always consult your Therapist or Rehabilitation Engineer for advice. • Ensure that the child is relaxed and happy and if possible in an environment in which they are familiar.
Snazzi Pushchair User Manual 5.1 Adjusting the seat unit Common adjustments on the Snazzi seat (such as seat depth and width) can be made by hand and require no tools. Less common adjustments (such as the footrest depth) are made using a 5mm hexagon key (supplied). No other tools are required to make adjustments to the seat.
Snazzi Pushchair User Manual To adjust the knee angle, press in the angle adjustors on both sides of the footrest at the same time (see Fig 5.1.2.2), and lift the footrest guide tubes to the required angle. To lock, release the buttons.

Snazzi Pushchair User Manual The lateral bracket must be fed through the slot in the cover (see Fig 5.1.3.4). Next, insert the 2 coach bolts through the bracket and seat back plate, so that the square neck is sitting fully in the slots.

Snazzi Pushchair User Manual To remove the back pad, first release the poppers on the integrated side pads (see fig 5.2.3). Next un-tuck the back pad from the bottom of the seat. Fig 5.2.3 Finally remove the back pad by lifting the top lip off from the backrest board as shown (see fig 5.2.4).
Snazzi Pushchair User Manual 5.3 Fitting a Headrest Pad or Lateral Head Supports (optional) To fit a headrest pad: There are three types of one piece headrest available; standard, extra recess (Fig 5.3.1) and occipital roll; however these can all be fitted to the seat in the same way.

Snazzi Pushchair User Manual 5.6 Fitting a Butterfly / Chest Harness or H-Belt Harness (Optional) The butterfly harness comprises a padded section that sits against the user’s chest, two shoulder and two bottom straps. Either the shoulder or the bottom straps are locked in a position to suit the user and then final adjustment is made on the opposite straps.

Snazzi Pushchair User Manual To fit the cam buckles: thread the supplied bolts and washers through the holes in the webbing straps and screw through the fixing holes in the bar on the rear of the seat (Fig 5.6.4). For a size 1 Snazzi we recommend using the inner holes, and for the size 2 Snazzi the outer holes.

Snazzi Pushchair User Manual IMPORTANT: - In order to ensure that the butterfly/chest harness cannot rise up and cause harm to the user, every time the harness is in use, you must ensure that all cam buckles / fixings are properly closed and that the harness is correctly positioned a minimum of 75mm below the user’s neckline.

Snazzi Pushchair User Manual Important: • When entering any building, ensure that you undo the Velcro flap at the front of the rain shield and fold it up so that the occupant of the pushchair does not over heat. If it is warm inside the building we would recommend removing the rain shield completely.
Snazzi Pushchair User Manual 6.4b: Removing the cover for washing: These instructions apply to both types of sun canopy. Remove the sun hood from the pushchair, and place on a flat surface. Unscrew the 2 thumbwheels securing the angle adjustors on both sides (see fig 6.4b.1).

Important: take care only to cut the material in the middle of the slot.

The top cover should be removed when indoors or in warmer weather to avoid your child overheating. The top cover is easily removed by undoing the zip.

8.4 Lifting and general safety The Snazzi Pushchair is designed to carry one person only. Never allow children to play on, or stand on the footrest or frame. Never hang anything such as bags on the push handle.

13.2 Attaching pushchair to vehicle The Snazzi Pushchair must be attached to the vehicle using a 4-point wheelchair restraint that complies with one of the following: ISO 10542 Part 2, SAE2249 or DIN 75078/2. NO other restraint system can be used.
