I AVR-S80 DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE AVR-S80
(Remove parts in the order as numbered.)
Disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet.
1. Removal of Top Cover
a. Remove 4 screws (1) and 5 screws (2). (Fig. 1)
b. Slide the Top Cover rearward to remove it. (Fig. 1)
2. Removal of Front Panel Unit
a. Remove 6 screws (3) and 1 screw (4). (Fig. 1)
b. Remove CB5, CB500, CB501. (Fig. 1)
c. Remove the Front Panel Unit. (Fig. 1)
When checking the P.C.B.:
• Reconnect all cables (connectors) that have been
disconnected.
• Using a lead wire or the like, connect G500 of SUB (4)
P.C.B. and the chassis for grounding. (Fig. 2)
