“Replacing brackets on your graphics card”, page Before you begin To avoid personal injury and to prevent damage to your computer or Matrox hardware, read the following guidelines before installing your Matrox graphics hardware. Preventing damage to your graphics hardware Always turn off your computer, unplug it, then wait for it to cool before touching any of the internal parts of your computer or installing your Matrox product.

Secure the bracket of your Matrox card to the computer frame. Your Matrox card is now installed. Before restarting your computer, connect your monitor or monitors (see “Connecting your monitors”, page 11). Solution Disable or remove any graphics hardware not supported by the display driver you want to use.
