HEAT EXCHANGER
Water coil maintenance is not required. If the
unit installation is located in a system with water
problem history it is best to establish a periodic
maintenance program. It is the building's
responsibility to maintain a water system that
should provide your unit with treated and filtered
water to keep water flowing freely through your
equipment.
Generally if the water flow exceeds 3 gpm per ton
the water velocities should keep your coil free of
scaling and debris that could lead to coil erosion
and fouling.
general unit inSpection: Visually inspect unit
at least once a month. Pay special attention to hose
assemblies and connections. Repair any leaks and
replace deteriorated hose immediately to avoid
potential costly damage to your property due to
component failure.
