Questions and answers
Model TP-PRH01-B Thermostat does not start my system with one degree difference in setting and actual temperature. Service says the reason is the compressor is a single stage and the air handler is dual stage. The air handler stays on but the compressor doesn't start unless I change the setting 2 degrees or more down or the air handler goes into second stage speed. I don't know what changes air handler speed. Is there an adjustment to the system to prevent this so the unit will start with one degree change in setting vs actual?
