Symptom
The voice or subtitle language selected
in the initial setting is not played.
Menu screen messages are not shown in
the desired language.
A VCD cannot be played using menus.

THE PICTURE. IN CASE OF 525 OR 625 PROGRESSIVE SCAN
PICTURE PROBLEMS, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE USER
SWITCH THE CONNECTION TO THE "STANDARD DEFINITION"
OUTPUT. IF THERE ARE QUESTIONS REGARDING OUR TV
SET COMPATIBILITY WITH THIS MODEL 525P AND 625P DVD
PLAYER, PLEASE CONTACT OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER.
• Use a DVD disc containing the recording of the selected voice or subtitle language.
• Press [SUBTITLE] or the [AUDIO] key on the remote and select the language.
• The DVD specifications provide for selection at the menu screen. Select at the
menu screen of the disc.
• Select disc menu language. (See page 17.)
• Menu playback is available only with VCD discs recorded with P.B.C.
• Replace with new batteries. (See page 15.)
• Operate the unit inside the remote controllable range. (See page 15.)
• Playback is restricted intentionally by the software producer. Please try another
operation.
