    2. Attach the external power supply and plug it into a wall outlet. The unit will emit a brief tone and the tuning and power lights will illuminate momentarily. 3. Set the front panel source switch to DAB and press the red Power button on the front panel to activate the unit.
  • Page 5 LCD: Shows the currently tuned DAB station on the top line and the station list on the bottom line. Use the Up/Down buttons to scroll through stations and the Menu/Select button to select and tune a DAB station. In FM/AM/Aux the display will show Tivoli Audio and the time. Cold temperatures will affect the appearance and speed of the text.

    When disconnecting the power supply from the wall outlet, never pull it by the cord. Do not plug the Model DAB into a wall outlet controlled by a switch. It is normal for the power supply to become warm during use. Use only the external power supply provided with the Model DAB.

    If the Alarm is set, before turning the Model DAB Off, set the source knob to the source you wish to wake up to (DAB, FM, AM, or Aux for Tone) and set the volume level. If you opt to wake to the tone, the volume of the tone is fixed and may not be adjusted.

    Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Do not block or otherwise obstruct the rear bass port. The Model DAB is video shielded but is best kept at least 10cm away from a computer monitor or television. Placement in a bookcase, cabinet, or close to walls or corners may inflate the bass.

    Please resist the temptation to take apart this product. There are no user serviceable parts inside, and any attempt at modifying or repairing your unit will void the warranty. Tivoli Audio will not pay for costs incurred due to correction of reception problems, elimination of externally generated static/noise, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of product, or damage caused by improper use of this product.
