User’s Manual Using the Hydrophone Stereo recording in water Due to the omnidirectional pick-up pattern of the Hydrophone it is possible to record A-B stereo using two 8011 Hydrophones. The spacing between the two Hydrophones needs to be 4 times larger (approx. 1-2 meters) than when making A-B stereo recording in air.
