Chapter 3. System Features
Up to 6 recorded messages (flexible length, max. 96 sec. per system) (ACD Version 3.0 and
higher)
In Version 3.0 and higher, the Silent Monitor feature has been added. This feature allows an
ACD supervisor to monitor a call between an ACD agent and a caller without the knowledge
of either party. For more information, see "Silent Monitor" on page 5-76, Section 400 -
Programming, and Section 520 - Built-In ACD Reference Manual.
In addition to MOH, ACD Version 3.0 provides up to eight analog extension ports that can be
connected to a recorded announcement device. See Section 520 - Built-In ACD Reference
Manual.
Up to 6 recorded messages (max. 14 sec. per message) (ACD Version below 3.0)
Zip Tone which automatically answers calls when an agent is using the Headset mode (CPC
Version 2.5 and higher)
Wrap Mode which allows an agent to complete any paperwork before becoming available to
take another call. (CPC Version 2.5 and higher)

Automatic Call Distributor (IFM)

Description
The Integrated Feature Module Automatic Call Distributor (IFM ACD) is available on the IFM ACD
card (VB-44192).
The IFM ACD
(VB-44192)
when installed in the DBS 576 system. The IFM ACD manages incoming calls to multiple agents and
agent groups. IFM ACD supports a large-display telephone (VB-44225) for agent to provide LCD
messages to assist the agent in handling calls.
Panasonic's IFM ACD card is an application platform that includes a Pentium II 266 MHZ PC and 8
voice processing circuits. The IFM ACD software is pre-loaded on the IFM ACD hard drive.
Call traffic data can be sent to the IFM ACD/MIS software on a PC, and to a printer, through an
Ethernet connection (direct or across a LAN).
