Accessories Check
The package of the Disk Expansion Unit contains several accessories as well as the chassis. Refer
to the attached packing list to make sure that all items are provided, and then inspect them. If one
or more items are missing or defective, contact your sales agent.
NOTE: The accessories are required for the setup of the
Disk Expansion Unit or the addition of an optional device.
Store them carefully.
Third Party Transfer
To transfer or sell the Disk Expansion Unit or the accessories that come with the Disk Expansion
Unit to a third party, make sure to provide this User's Guide along with the chassis or the
accessories to a third party.
Disposing of the Disk Expansion Unit and its Consumables
Dispose the Disk Expansion Unit, hard disk drives, and option boards according to the
laws and regulations of the local government.
The Disk Expansion Unit contains some components that are only good for a limited
period of time and require replacement, such as fans.
For stable operation of the Disk Expansion Unit, NEC recommends you replace these
components on a regular basis. Contact your sales agent for more information.
