Manufactured in Europe, the Preciso’s™ 40 mm conical burrs grind coffee at 1.5 to 2.4 g/sec. depending on the setting. But what really sets the Preciso™ burrs apart is that these burrs can do a very uniform grind, with a distinct lack of fines across its grinding range. - Page 3 Preciso Grind Adjustment The range of grind and accuracy of settings is truly impressive. The Preciso™ has 40 distinct Macro settings to enable grinding from Espresso to French press, with the simple turn of the hopper. In addition, the Preciso™ has a secondary Micro adjust lever, which further divides each of the 40 Macro positions into 11 distinct steps.

► Do not use this grinder for anything other than its intended use (i.e. grinding whole roasted coffee beans). ► Baratza will not accept any liability for damage or injury if the grinder is used other than for its intended purpose or is improperly operated or repaired. - Page 8 Preciso ► Do not leave your grinder unattended while turned ON. ► Shut off and unplug the grinder from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning. ► To unplug, grasp plug and remove from the outlet. OPERATION Before Using Your Grinder Prior to using your Preciso™ grinder for the first time you should wash the bean hopper and ground coffee bin in warm soapy water. See the section on Care and Cleaning for instruction on how to remove and reinstall these parts. There may be some rust on the burrs when you receive your grinder. -

Pull the silicone seal off the top of the Ring Burr. Remove the ring burr by lifting it straight up out of the grinder by the lifting tabs. If the burr does not lift out, ensure that the grind adjustment ring is turned fully counterclockwise. Preciso Manual... -

This can happen if the grounds bin or portafilter are allowed to overfill and ground coffee gets backed up into the grounds chute and grinding chamber.
