    The control panel The buttons LOAF: Press this button to select the loaf size according to your recipe. Choose between 500g, 750g and 1kg. COLOUR: Press this button to select the crust colour (level of browning) for your bread. Choose between LIGHT, MEDIUM, DARK and RAPID browning.

    The control panel (continued) The LCD display The LCD screen displays the selections you have made for the bread/cake making process, including the size of your loaf, the chosen crust colour and the stage of the bread/cake making process. The number displayed under MENU (1-11) corresponds to the program you have chosen.

    Operating instructions Using the breadmaker Take the bread pan out of the breadmaker and attach the kneading blade onto its rotation axis, making sure it is properly aligned on the semicircle shaped axis. (Use the cake tin and mixing blade for cakes.) Add the ingredients (at room temperature) into the bread pan in the order they are listed in the recipe (recipes start on page 18).

    Operating instructions (continued) Making a dough only (program 7) Use the dough making function to knead dough that you do not want to bake straightaway in the breadmaker, but in an oven, for example. The dough making process is similar to that of other programs, only that the dough will not get baked afterwards.

    Special functions Keep warm function The breadmaker has a convenient keep warm function. At the end of the bread or cake making process (in most programs), the breadmaker will automatically go into keep warm mode, so you do not need to take out the food straight away.

    Special functions (continued) Alarm and error messages The breadmaker has various automatic alarm functions that stop the machine and alert you when something is wrong. In that case, a buzzer will usually emit a few short beeps and an error message will display on the screen.
