∫ Audio Delay
Mis-sync between the video and audio is corrected by
delaying the audio output.
∫ Audio Type for XP Recording
Select the audio type when recording or copying with XP
mode.
≥If "LPCM" is selected, audio quality will be raised but
picture quality will drop compared to the case when "Dolby
Digital" is selected.
∫ Audio Type for DV Input
You can select the kind of audio when recording from the
unit's DV input terminal (
≥If "Mix" is selected, both Stereo 1 and Stereo 2 are
recorded.
≥When recording bilingual broadcast, select the type of
audio in advance from "Bilingual Audio Selection" (
∫ Audio Type for Digital Broadcast
If the programme has more than two tracks, you can set
priorities.
≥If "Automatic" is selected, audio tracks will be automatically
selected in the following order of priority — Dolby Digital
Plus, Dolby Digital, MPEG.
≥This setting will give effect in the following conditions.
–When recorded in XP, SP, LP, EP or FR mode.
–DR File Conversion ( 42)
–Normal speed copy from the title recorded in DR mode.

If the programme has multi channel audio, priority is given to
what you select.
≥This setting will give effect in the following cases.
–Convert to HG, HX, HE, HL or HM mode in "DR File

–Normal speed copy in HG, HX, HE, HL or HM mode from

Set the lighting method for the lamp on the SD card slot.
≥If "SD inserted" is selected, when this unit is turned on and
SD card is inserted, the lamp is lighted.
