Customizing Your Phone You can customize your VP530 IP video phone by configuring the setting for time and date, backlight, and ring tones, for example. You can add contacts to the phone’s local directory manually. You can also handle incoming calls from different contacts in different ways.

The topics include: Local Directory Remote Phone Book The built-in phone directory stores the names and phone numbers of your contacts. You can store up to 1000 contacts in the phone's local directory. There are five default groups in the local directory: All, Company, Family, Friend and Blacklist.

The phone automatically plays a warning tone when it receives an incoming intercom call. In addition, you can enable the phone to mute the microphone when it automatically answers an incoming intercom call.
