Has new phone but incoming volume too !ow,and amplify button does seem to be making any differance

To increase the incoming volume on a BT4000 phone if the amplify button is not working, follow these steps:

1. Press the MENU button.
2. Use the DOWN button to highlight AUDIO SET and press OK.
3. The display will show H/SET VOL (Handset Volume). Press OK to confirm.
4. Use the UP button to increase the volume to the desired level.
