Settings

Time and date

You can also set the time and date without using the setup
wizard. The time is always displayed in standby.
To set the time and date
• } Settings } the General tab } Time & date
} Time. Enter the time } Save.
• To set the time format (12-hour or 24-hour clock)
} Format and select an option.
• You can set the date and date format in Settings
} the General tab } Time & date } Date.
Advanced time settings
In Settings } the General tab } Time & date you can set
time zone and daylight saving time. If you have activated Auto
time zone, you are asked whether you want to update the time
when your phone changes network. If you press Yes, the time
is updated automatically.

Start-up screen and power save

When you turn your phone on or off, the start-up screen
appears. You can also set your own start-up screen.
Power save is designed to optimize standby time.

To select a start-up screen
} Settings } the Display tab } Start-up screen and
select a picture for the start-up screen. You can also select
no start-up screen at all, or go back to the original one.
To set power save
} Settings } the General tab } Power save.

Themes

You can change the appearance of the screen, for example,
the colours and wallpaper, by using themes. Your phone comes
with some predefined themes. You cannot delete these, but
you can download new themes from Vodafone live!
To select or change a theme
} My Items } Themes and select a theme.
Exchanging themes
You can exchange themes using Bluetooth wireless technology,
the infrared port or email. Please note that you are not allowed
to exchange copyright-protected material.
To send a theme
1. } My Items } Themes and select a theme } More
} Send.
2. Select a transfer method.
