Problem solving guide
The compressor is switching on too frequently and for too long,
so the temperature in the appliance is dropping.
Problem
The temperature
inside the appliance
is too low.
The compressor
runs all the time.

Possible cause
The temperature inside the
appliance is set too low.
The freezer section door is
not properly closed.
Has a large amount of fresh
food been put in at the
same time for freezing?
The Super freeze function is
still switched on. It will
switch itself off
automatically after approx.
65 hours.
To save energy, the
compressor runs at a lower
speed when less cooling is
required. The compressor
will run for longer when this
happens.
Remedy
^ Set the correct
temperature setting.
^ Close the door and make
sure it closes properly.
^ See "Freezing and storing
food" for more information.
You can switch off the Super
freeze function earlier to
save energy:
^ Press the Super freeze
button.
This is normal and does not
require attention.
