Update the firmware

On HMP8100, you can update the firmware through Philips online services over
the Internet.
Connect HMP8100 to the Internet. You can receive notifications about firmware
updates. Check notifications at the base of the screen.
Alternatively, go to Settings > About Mediabox > Systemupdates to check for
firmware updates (see 'System updates' on page 45).
Update the firmware through the SD card

Remove the power plug from HMP8100.

On your computer, do the following:
a Go to www.philips.com/support to find the latest firmware.
b Search for your model and click on Software and drivers.
c Download and then, unzip the firmware update files.
d Save the unzipped files to the root directory of an SD card.

On HMP8100, do the following:
a Mount the SD card.
b Connect HMP8100 to power.
» The firmware updating starts automatically.
