thermostat button on fridge appears to be very loose and the fridge is not as cold as usual
If the thermostat button on a Hotpoint FF187E fridge feels loose and the fridge is not cooling properly, check if the control knob is properly connected to the potentiometer. If it is not, remove the knob and inspect the connecting rod. If it is disconnected, use a small plastic tool to adjust the potentiometer manually.
