Do you have a question about the FloorMate SpinScrub 500 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
why won't it spray after being stored
The Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub 500 may not spray after being stored due to several possible reasons:
1. Clogged Nozzle or Tubing – Cleaning solution residue may have dried and blocked the spray nozzle or internal tubing.
2. Air in the Pump or Lines – Air trapped in the system can prevent proper spraying. Running the cleaner for a few seconds may help prime the pump.
3. Empty or Improperly Seated Solution Tank – Ensure the solution tank has liquid and is correctly attached.
4. Faulty or Stuck Pump Mechanism – The internal pump may be stuck or malfunctioning due to long-term storage.
5. Blocked Filter or Valve – The filter or valve inside the tank may be blocked, preventing solution flow.
Cleaning the nozzle, checking for blockages, and ensuring proper assembly can help resolve the issue.
