The first five ringing patterns are relevant for the
American telephone industry. These include:
• Line-to-line
• Trunk-to-line
• Attendant-to-line
• Intercom call
• Callback
Other ringing patterns follow if you continue to press
<R-PTN>. These ringing patterns are primarily associated
with the Japanese telephone industry.
