I don't understand why my heater keeps shutting off
The Heat Surge Original Roll-n-Glow heater may keep shutting off because the thermostat is cycling the heater on and off when the room temperature is within ±1 degree of the dial setting. If the thermostat is set too low, the heater may turn off frequently. It is recommended to turn the thermostat knob all the way to the right before troubleshooting heating issues.
