Changing the filter

E After 2000 oz (60 liters) of water have flowed through, the
filter will cease to work. Your IMPRESSA will automatically
prompt you to change the filter.
E After three months, the filter will cease to work. Set the date
on the date plate on the filter holder in the water tank.
E If the CLEARYL Blue filter cartridge is not activated in program-
ming mode, you will not be prompted to change the filter.
E CLEARYL filter cartridges are available from specialized
dealers.
Precondition: 'Change the filter'

  O  T  Press the P button.
'Maintenance status (1/7)'
T  Press the
'Change the filter'
'Approximate duration 2 min.'
T  Press the
'Start'
'Use only original JURA maintenance products!'
T  Press the
'Start'
'Change filter.'
T  Remove and empty the water tank.
T  Open the filter holder and remove the old CLEARYL Blue
filter cartridge.
T  Fit the filter extension on top of a new filter cartridge.
T  Insert the new filter cartridge into the water tank, exerting
slight pressure.
T  Close the filter holder. It will click into place audibly.
E After three months, the filter will cease to work. Set the date
on the date plate on the filter holder in the water tank.
T  Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water and reinsert the tank.
T  Place a receptacle (at least 17 oz or 500 ml) under the
cappuccino frother.
T  Press the
'Next'
'Filter is being 
frother.
E You can interrupt rinsing of the filter at any time by pressing
any button. Press the Rotary Switch k to continue rinsing of
the filter.
