. . . the PerfectFresh compartment
has not closed properly by itself but
remains slightly open.
The self-closing mechanism has
disengaged and is retracted.
^ Using a little force, push the
compartment in as far as it will go.
The self-closing mechanism will now
function correctly and the compartment
will close automatically again.
. . . the interior lighting is not
working.
Has the appliance door been left open
for too long? The lighting switches itself
off automatically after approx. 15
minutes if the door is left open.
If it also does not come on when the
door is opened briefly, but the
temperature display is working, then
the lighting is defective.
^ Call the Service Department.
The LED lighting may only be repaired
or replaced by a service technician.
There are live electrical components
under the cover. Danger of injury and
damage.
Do not remove the cover. Should the
cover be damaged or need to be
removed due to damage, exercise
caution. There are lasers in the
lighting (laser beam class 1M) which
you should avoid looking at directly.
Do not use optical instruments
(magnifying glass or similar) to look
at the lighting either.

. . . the floor of the refrigerator is wet.
The condensate drain hole is blocked.
^ Clean the condensate channel and
drain hole.
If you still cannot remedy the fault
having followed these suggestions,
please contact the Miele Service
Department.
To prevent unnecessary loss of
temperature, it is advisable not to
open the door while waiting for the
appliance to be serviced.
