Checking coolant level

Check the coolant level in the expansion tank on the right-
hand side of the motorcycle; it must be between the MAX
and MIN marks on the tank.
If the level is low, top it up.
Unscrew the filler cap (1) and add a mixture consisting
of water and antifreeze SHELL Advance Coolant or
Glycoshell (35-40% of the volume) up to MAX mark.
Replace the cap (1).
This type of mixture gives the best operating conditions
(the coolant starts to freeze at –20 °C/-4 °F).
Cooling circuit capacity: 2,7 dm
Warning
This operation must be carried out with the engine
cold and with the motorcycle perfectly level.
