VIEWING MODE

General Information

The following describes the basic functions of your Mediamaster
while watching TV or listening to radio channels from the cable
network.
The functions described here can only be used if they are in-
cluded in the transmitted programme information.
If you select a programme to which you do not have access, you
will get a message on the screen.
While viewing, the current channel number will be shown on the
front panel display.
However, when you have changed into Radio mode (to listen to ra-
dio channels) the number will be preceded by the capital letter A;
and e.g. A123 will be shown in the display.
It is possible for the service provider to transmit other services
than TV channels only. For example it is possible to transmit
games via the cable net. In such a case the display will show the
capital letter O before the figures, and e.g. O456 will be shown.
In addition to the normal functions like switching the Media-
master in/out of stand-by, changing the volume etc. (ref. to the
overview of the remote control) there are some other useful func-
tions which will be explained in this part of the manual.
