Remove the speakers:
1. Remove the Phillips PM2.5×6.0 shoulder screw (1) that secures the speakers to the
base enclosure.
NOTE:
that is installed in the screw hole.
2. Remove the speakers (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the speakers.

Optical drive connector cable

NOTE: The optical drive connector cable is included in the Optical Drive Hardware Kit, spare part
numbers 670734-001 (for use only with Beats Edition computer models) and 670735-001 (for use
only with non-Beats Edition computer models).
Before removing the optical drive connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
