Use a Screen Unlock Password
1. Tap Password.
2. Enter a password, tap Continue, enter your password again, and tap OK to save the
setting.
Make Passwords Visible
You can hide your password or PIN number as you type it.
► Clear the Make passwords visible check box.
Important: Highest security level protection (password protection) and frequent change of
password are recommended to protect your phone and data from unauthorized
access.
Disable the Screen Lock
1. If you have set unlock screen pattern, PIN, or password, draw your unlock screen
pattern, enter your PIN, or enter your password.
2. Tap None.
Automatically Lock
Set the delay time the screen lock feature activates after it goes to sleep.
1. Tap Automatically lock.
2. Select the delay time to lock the screen.
Power Button Instantly Locks
Activate the screen lock feature by pressing the Power/Lock key.
► Select the Power button instantly locks check box.
Vibrate on Touch
Let the phone vibrate when you draw a pattern or enter a PIN.
► Select the Vibrate on touch check box.
