DO IT YOURSELF!
Youmay find that your new oven cooks differently
than the one it replaced. Werecommendthat you
use yournewoven for a few weeksto becomemore
Pdmiliar w ith it, followingthe timesgivenin your
recipesas a guide.
If you think your new oven is too hot or too cold,
you can adjust the thermostat yourself. If you think
it is too hot, adjustthe thermostatto makeit cooler.If
you thinkit is too cool,adjustthe thermostatto make
it hotter.
We do not recommend the use of inexpensive
thermometers, suchas thosefoundin grocerystores,
to checkthe temperaturesettingof your newoven.
Thesethermometersmay vary 20–40 degrees.
To Adjust the Thermostat:

1. Pressthe BAKEpad.

2. Selectanoventemperature b etween500°F. a nd550°F.
3. Immediately, b efore"ON"appears,pressand hold
the BAKEpad for about4 seconds.The time
displaywill changeto the ovenadjustmentdisplay.

4. The oventemperaturecan be
adjustedup to (+) 35°F.hotteror (–)

DECREASEpad to decreasethe

5. Whenyou have madethe adjustment,
START
pressthe STARTpad to go backto
the timeof day display.Useyour
ovenas you wouldnormally.
NOTE:
This adjustmentwill not affectthe Broilingor Self-
Cleaningtemperatures. I t will be retainedin memory
aftera powerfailure.
Pressingthe CLEAR/OFFpad or any functionpad
whilein the adjustthermostatmodewill cancelthe
modeand any changesmadeto the thermostatwill
notbe saved.
