11.2 To Set a Recorder or Reminder by EPG (Now / Next)

During watching any FreeView channel, press GUIDE button to open EPG(Now/Next) page.

If you want to set a recorder or reminder for next event, press 4 arrow key to highlight and press
SELECT key to activate reminder or press RECORD key to activate timer event

The display will ask to choose about recording or reminder. If you select Reminder, you can see
clock icon near event name that you want to be reminded. (Reminder option only works while you
are watching TV, it is disabled at standby or any other mode.)

If you select Record, it asks for quality of recording that you want to set. After selecting one of them,
it puts a red icon near event name and turns back to EPG (Now/Next) page. Also if you want to verify
timer record, you may see event in Timer List by pressing TIMER key.

To close EPG page and turn back monitor mode, press GUIDE key.

11.3 To Set a Record or Reminder by EPG (7 Day)

When watching any FreeView channels, press GUIDE key then MENU key to open EPG (7 Day)
page.

If you want to set a record or reminder for any event, use navigation and coloured keys to highlight
and press SELECT key to activate reminder or press RECORD key to activate timer event. (Use
DISPLAY/ INFO) button for more help.

The display will request if you want to record this event or set a reminder. If you select Reminder,
you can see clock icon near event name that you want to be reminded. (Reminder option only works
watching TV, it is disabled at standby or any other mode.)

If you select Record, it asks for quality of recording that you want to set. After selecting one of them,
it puts a red icon near event name and turns back to EPG (7 Day) page. Also if you want to verify
timer record, you may see event in Timer List by pressing TIMER key.

Other record events may be selected by repeating points 2, 3 and 4 above. In case two record timers
overlap, a warning message will be displayed.

To complete the record time event ,turn off the recorder by pressing the
remote. At the programmed time the recorder will power up and record is selected channel and
power off again once completed.
NOTE: Very important that there is sufficient disc space to cover the recorded time.

11.4 How to Create Recording Item

Press TIMER key on the remote control or select Timer Setting
Menu from Setup menu

Press SELECT on the first blank item to program recording

Set the source of recording
-
Set the quality of recording
-
Set the mode of recording
-
Set the recording time (start and stop time for recording process)
NOTE: When you finish creating an item, the device will ask you
whether you want to put a recordable disc or not, if there is no
recordable disc in loader. If you select "Change Disc" option, you should
place a disc in tray. If you select "Continue" option, you will skip placing
a disc in tray process but timer recoding will be set.
