Recording from the built-in radio

Tune in to the desired station. (See pages 16-17.)

Load a cassette into the TAPE 2 cassette compartment.
Load the tape with side A (1) facing you.
Wind past the leader of the tape, on which recording can not
be performed.

... To record on both sides.

"REC" will flash.

"REC" will appear.
To record on both sides, begin on side A (1). [If recording is
started from side B (2), the tape will not switch over to side

Note:
If a whistling noise is heard whilst recording from an AM sta-
tion, move the AM loop aerial to a position where noise is no
longer heard from the unit.
To stop recording:

Dubbing from tape to tape

Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

Load a prerecorded cassette into the TAPE 1 cassette com-
partment. Insert a blank tape into the TAPE 2 cassette com-
partment.
It is recommended that the recording tape be the same length
as the master tape.
