Introducing Toshiba's IPedge EP Server
Toshiba is proud to announce the release of the IPedge EP system as the newest member of the IPedge
family of pure IP systems. The IPedge EP system delivers big-company features at an affordable price for
small businesses and branch locations. Like the other IPedge systems, the IPedge EP system performs
call processing, voice mail, unified messaging, and media processing which includes conferencing and
paging, centralized management, Call Manager unified communications, and more. IPedge EP system
®
uses Red Hat
Enterprise Linux
security.
The IPedge EP system (shown below) is easy to install. The IPedge EP system supports applications for
up to 40 users.
The IPedge EP system can be set on a shelf or table horizontally or vertically using an optional base
(shown below). It can also be installed on a standard 19" rack using the optional rack-mount kit.

IPedge EP system can also connect to a MAS or MicroMAS to run ACD and TASKE, and it can connect to
uMobility and other external applications.
Networking between IPedge servers and/or Strata® CIX™ systems is enabled via IPedge Net using one
IP address.

    Toshiba recommends an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with power conditioning for the IPedge server. The recommended UPS from ONEAC are shown in the table below. The UPS shown in the table include power conditioning. If you already have a UPS in place Toshiba recommends that you install a power conditioner (P/N PC075A-S2S).
