Updating the firmware (Windows)

Thanks to software technology, updates to existing standards and new functions can be

added to the PHASE 88 Rack FW system without changes to the hardware by updating

its so-called "firmware". To update the firmware, proceed as follows:

Run the program "TT_FW_WinFlash_v1.0.exe". It can be found on the driver CD in

the "Firmware" folder and can be downloaded from the Internet.

Click "Open" and specify the firmware file you would like to load.

■

Next, click "Upgrade Firmware" to start the update process.

■

Answer "Yes" to the safety prompt that appears now.

■

The PHASE 88 Rack FW must be restarted after the firmware update completes

successfully. Either disconnect the PHASE 88 Rack FW from the computer and re-

connect it, or restart the computer.

■

In the event of a power failure during the update, or if the update does not complete

successfully for any other reason, simply repeat the update. It's not possible to dam-

age anything in the process.
