^ Clean the appliance interior and all
accessories. Use warm water and a
little washing up liquid and dry with a
soft cloth.
Important: To ensure correct func-
tioning of the appliance, let it stand
for between ½ and 1 hour after
transporting it to its final location be-
fore connecting it to the mains.
The refrigerator and freezer sections
are switched on together by pressing
the main switch or by pressing the on
button on the left hand side of the con-
trol panel.
^ Press the main switch.
A bar will light up in the temperature
display and a buzzer will sound. The
appliance starts cooling.
Allow the appliance to run for a few
hours before placing food in it. This will
ensure that the temperature is suffi-
ciently low.
^ Press the main switch.
The temperature display goes out and
the cooling process is switched off. If
this does not happen, then the safety
lock is still engaged.
The refrigerator section can be
switched off without having to switch off
the freezer section. This is useful e.g.
whilst on holiday.
^ Press the On/Off switch to turn the re-
frigerator section off.
The temperature display for the re-
frigerator section goes out and the
cooling process is switched off.
^ Press the On/Off button again.
Two bars will light up in the refrigera-
tor section temperature display. The
refrigerator section starts cooling.
The interior light will come on if the
door is opened.
