The remote control just has the time display after I change the battery. I have tried to reset it but nothing was working

After changing the battery, the Fujitsu remote control may only display the time because it needs to be reset. To reset it, follow these steps:

TIMER OPERATION Before using the timer function, be sure that the Remote Control Unit is set to the correct current time (☞ P. 3). If the indoor unit is connected to a wired remote controller, the wireless remote controller cannot be used to set the timer.

SLEEP TIMER OPERATION Unlike other timer functions, the SLEEP timer is used to set the length of time until air conditioner operate is stopped. If the indoor unit is connected to a wired remote controller, the wireless remote controller cannot be used to set the sleep timer.

ADJUSTING THE DIRECTION OF AIR CIRCULATION ● Adjust the up, down, left, and right AIR directions with the AIR DIRECTION buttons on the Remote Control Unit. ● Use the AIR DIRECTION buttons after the Indoor Unit has started operating and the airflow-direction louvers have stopped moving.
