• Remove carriage screws, washers, and hex nuts that secure the trimmer deflector to the base. See Figure 7. • Slide trimmer deflector off so spindle assembly goes through hole in deflector. • Loosen the wing nuts and slide the spindle disc to the lowest position and tighten to secure in position.
