Route the Copper Tubing and Connect It to the Shutoff Valve
Route the (opper tubing beBveen the cold water line and the reti'igerator.
Route the tubing through a hole drilled in the wall or tloor (behind the
retiigerator
or ac{jacent base cabinet) as close to the wall as possible.
Besurethereis sufficient e xtratubing [about8 feet(244cm)coiledinto3 turns of about
10"(25cmldiameter]toallowthe refrigerator t omoveout fromthewaftafter installation.
Pla(e the compression
nut and terrule (sleeve) onto the end of the tubing and
connect it to the shutotl:valve.
Make sure the tubing is full], inserted into the valve. Tighten the compression
nut securely.

Turn On the Water and Flush Out the Tubing
Turn the main water supply on and tlush out the tubing- until the water
is clear.

been tlushed through the robing.
