Connecting
two VCRs
This connection allows you to record (dub/edit) from one VCR to
another
VCR while watching
a videotape.
You also can record from
one TV channel
while watching
another
TV channel.
You will need:
• two coaxial cables
• two sets of standard
MV
cabk_s
VCR1

Note:
/f VCR1has S v)deo,you can use an S video
cable instead era standard video cable for
better picture performance Do not connect
both a standard video cable and an S video
cable to VIDEO ? (or VIDEO 2) a'tthe some

Do not connect the same VCR to the augur
and inputjacks an the TVat the same dine
Todub or edit, VCR2 must select Line IN,
and the TVmust select VIDEO t (see
"Sdeeting the ont_>nna /npot"on page 27)
* The VIDEO OUTjack does not output the
POP picture
** TheAUDIO OUTjacks can output the
sound of either the Main or POPpicture
(see "Selectingthe Audio OUT sourld" on
page 65)
