Avoid exposing memory cards to very cold o r v ery hot
teruperatures (below 0°O/32 °F or above 40°(}/104 °F),
Extreme temperatures car/cause memory cards tomalfunction,
Insert amemory card inthe c orrect direction. Inserting a
memory card in the w rong direction may damage your camera
and m emory card.
Do not use r nernory cards that have been tormatted by other
cameras or by acomputer. Reformat the memory card with
your caruera.
•Turn off t he c amera before you i nsert or remove the memory
card,
• Do not remove the r//ernory card or t urn o ff y our carnera while
the lamp is blinking, as this m ay damage your data,
•When the l ifespan of a memory card has e xpired, you c annot
store any more, photos on the card. Use anew m emory card,
• Do not bend, drop, or s ubject memory cards toheavy impact
or pressure.
•Avoid using or storing memory cards near strong magnetic
fields.
•Avoid using or keeping mernory cards in areas with h igh
temperature, high humidity, or corrosive substances.
• Prevent memory cards frorn making contact with l iquids dirt o r
toreign sclbstances, Ifdirty, wipe the memory card clean with a
soft cloth before you i nsert the memory card into y our camera.
• Do not allow liquids, dirt, or f oreign substances tocome in
contact with m emory cards or t he memory card slot, Doing so
may cause memory cards or the c amera tomalfunction,
•When you c arry amemory card, use a case toprotect the card
from e lectrostatic discharges,
•Transfer important data toother media, such as ahard disk,
OD, or DVD.
°When you u se t he c amera for a n extended periocl, the rnernory
card may become warm. This isnormal and d oes not indicate
amalfunction.
