WASHER CARE
Cleaning the exterior
Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to wipe up any spills such as
detergent or bleach. Occasionally
wipe the outside of your
washer to keep it looking new.
Cleaning the interior
To clean your washer interior, add 1 cup (250 mL) of chlorine
bleach and 1 scoop or cap full of detergent into your dispenser,
and run the washer through the NORMAL cycle using hot water.
Repeat this process if necessary.
NOTE: Remove any hard water deposits using only cleaners
labeled as washer safe.
Replace inlet hoses after five years of use to reduce the risk of
hose failure. Periodically inspect and replace inlet hoses if
bulges, kinks, cuts, wear or leaks are found.
When replacing your inlet hoses, mark the date of replacement
on the label with a permanent marker.
Install and store your washer where it will not freeze. Because
some water may stay in the Hoses, freezing can damage your
washen If storing or moving your washer during freezing weather,
winterize it.
Non-use
or vacation
care:
Operate your washer only when you are at home. If you will be on
vacation or not using your washer for an extended period of time,
you should:
Unplug washer or disconnect
power.
Turn off the water supply to the washer. This helps avoid
accidental flooding (due to a water pressure surge) while you
are away.
To winterize
washer:
1. Shut off both water faucets.
2. Disconnect
and drain water inlet hoses.
3. Put 1 quart (1 L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in the basket.
4. Run washer on an EXTENDED
SPIN cycle.
5. Unplug washer or disconnect
power.
To use washer
again:
1. Flush water pipes and hoses.
2. Reconnect water inlet hoses.
3. Turn on both water faucets.
4. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
5. Run the washer through the Normal cycle with 1 scoop or
cap full of detergent to clean out antifreeze.
To transport
the washer:
1. Shut off both water faucets.
2. Disconnect
and drain water inlet hoses.
3. If washer will be moved during freezing weather, put in a quart
(1 L) of R.V.-type antifreeze in the basket. Run washer on an
EXTENDED SPIN cycle.
4. Disconnect the drain from the drain system.
5. Unplug the power cord.
6. Place the inlet hoses into the basket.
7. Drape the power cord and drain hose over edge and into the
basket.
8. Place the expanded foam plug retained from the washer's
shipping material into basket opening. Close the lid and put a
piece of tape over the lid and down to the front of the washer.
Re-installing
the washer
1. Follow the "Installation
Instructions" to locate, level and
connect the washer.
2. Run the washer through the NORMAL cycle with 1 scoop or
cap full of detergent to clean the washer and remove the
antifreeze, if used.
TROUBLESHOOTING
First try the solutions suggested here and possibly avoid
the cost of a service call...

If any of these codes continue to occur, call for service.
"PF" (Power Failure) flashes
Was the washing cycle interrupted
by a power failure? Press
START to continue the cycle from the moment that power
was lost, - OR - Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display
and completely cancel the cycle.
"FL" (Over Fill) flashes
The washer will beep every 10 seconds with no time-out. The
pump will cycle one half minute on, one half minute off, until
the over fill switch is reset or power is discontinued
to the
unit. Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. Shut off the
water faucets to the inlet hoses if water continues to flow.
"Er" (Processor
Reset Error)
Cycle information
was not stored during a power failure.
Press STOP/CANCEL
to clear the display.
"LF" (Long Fill) flashes
Are the water inlet hoses kinked or clogged?
Are the water inlet valve screens clear?
Press STOP/CANCEL
to clear the display.
"CE" (Communications
Error) flashes - beeps once
Press STOP/CANCEL
to clear the display.
"Ld" (Long Drain) flashes
Is the drain hose kinked or clogged?
Press STOP/CANCEL
to clear the display.
"CA" or "Cl" (Current Limit)
Is the washer overloaded?
Press STOP/CANCEL
to clear the display.
"Or" (Open Relay)
Washer operation failure. Call for service.
"Sr" (Stuck Relay)
Washer operation failure. Call for service.
"LS" (Lid Switch
Error) flashes
Is the washer lid open? Close the lid and press START to
continue the cycle.
Is the lid closed? Open and close the lid. Press STOP/
CANCEL to clear the display.
"SL" (Suds Lock)
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display. Drain/Spin load:
restart cycle. Do not add detergent.
Use cold water.
"dt" (Diagnostic
Tests)
For service diagnostics
only. Press STOP/CANCEL
to clear
the display.
