Press ENTER to set a function or to turn it on or off.
• MTS MODE (Multi-Channel
Television Sound) will allow you to select STERE'O (a stereo broadcast), SA (second
audio) program which may be a secondary language, weather report, etc. or MONC, (monaural sound) used when
receiving a weak stereo broadcast.

• LOUDNESS
This function will improve the quality of both low and high frequency sounds when listening at low volume levels.
• INT. SPEAKERS
This function is useful when first setting up the external speakers, or it you prefer Louse only speakers from a separate
stereo system.
• SURROUND SOUND STEREO
Surround sound allows the viewer to enjoy sound which provides a feeling of ";)resence" from stereo broadcasts and
VCR tapes* recorded with stereo sound.
*Your play VCR must be a Hi-Fi or stereo unit. See page 32 for stereo VCR connection (27AX3B).
*Set must be outputting stereo. (See MTS • mode • stereo (above).)
