TO INSTALL
BATTERY
PACK
Place battery pack in your tool. Align raised rib on
battery pack with groove inside toot. See Figure 2.
Make sure the latches on each side of your battery
pack snap in place and battery pack is secured in toot
before beginning operation.

DEPRESSLATCHES TO
RELEASEBATTERYPACK
Place staples in channel, legs facing upward and close
base or drop nails in, left side of channel with "T" head
sitting on the slot base. Close base while making sure
nail strip stays upright in channel.
Make sure that the latch is securely locked is place.
Reattach battery pack to tool.

CAUTION:
When placing battery pack in the tool,
be sure raised rib on battery pack aligns with groove
inside tool and latches snap into place properly.
Improper assembly of battery pack can cause
damage to internal components.
TO REMOVE
BATTERY
PACK
Locate latches on side of battery pack and depress to
release battery pack from the tool. See Figure 2.
Remove battery pack from the tool.
LOADING
THE TOOL
See Figure 3-5.
Remove battery pack from the toot.

ing dust. If operatin
is dusty, also wear a dust
mask.

WARNING:
Always remove battery pack from the
tool when you are assembling
parts, making adjust-
ments, assembling
or removing blades, cleaning, or
when not in use. Removing battery pack will prevent
accidental starting that could cause serious personal
injury.
Hold tool upside down; squeeze latch and slide base
open.
