TO REMOVE:
Lock switch trigger by placing the forward/reverse switch

ra Remove cover securing batteries by twisting it in the
direction of the arrow as shown in figure t0
ml Slide batteries from motor housing enough to expose
leads and battery terminals Disconnect tends from
battery terminals NOTE: Be careful not to break battery
terminals when disconnecting leads

Upon removal, cover the batlery's terminals with heavy
duty adhesive lape De nol attempt to destroy or
disassemble battery or remove any of its components
Nickel-cadmium batteries must be recycled or disposed
of properly Also, never touch both terminals with metal
objects and/or body parts as short circuit may result
Keep away from children Failure to comply with these
warnings could result in fire and/or serious injury
