To use the antenna:
[] Raise or lower radio antenna until radio channel can be
heard clearly. The antenna can also be rotated or tilted
to help improve reception for weaker channels.

CHANNELS
This radio is capable of receiving broadcasts on any one
of seven available National Weather Radio (NWR) broad-
cast frequencies. The channel numbers displayed when
tuning correspond with the frequencies
below:

National Weather Radio (NWR) is a nationwide network of
radio stations broadcasting
continuous weather informa-
tion directly from a nearby National Weather Service of-
fice. NWR broadcasts National Weather Service warnings,
watches, forecasts, and other hazard information 24 hours
a day. A listing of the National Weather Radio stations
used for specific areas is available on the internet.
AUXiLiARY
MODE
See Figure 7.
The portable radio can be used as an amplifier for MP3
players, CD players, and other music devices.
To use the au×iliary mode:
[] Push the MODE button to select the AUX mode.
[] Remove moisture cover protecting the auxiliary input
jack.
[] Plug the auxiliary cable into the auxiliary input jack
above the ON/OFF/VOLUME
knob.
[] Plug cable into music device.
[] Turn radio and music device ON.
NOTE: Adjust volume to desired level using either the
radio or music device.
After setting up the radio to amplify an accessory device,
you can use the accessory device holder on the back to
clip the accessory device to the radio.
