2.4.1 Ink Operations
Various ink operations can be performed selectively by the printer.
2.4.1.1 Power on Operstion
Power on consists of the following operations (only one of which is performed, depending on the
position of the carriage and condition of ink cartridge when the printer is turned on):
At ink systemhome position
Ink level is normal
Notatink system home position
At ink system home position
Ink is low
No inkcartridge
Note:
/n the flushing operation, the pnntheadmoves to the position where the cap covers the

1. Moves the carriage to the flushing position and
performs the flushing operation.
2. Returns the carriage to thehomeposition (standby for
printing).
Note:
The false absorbing opemtion is performed pre-
cedes the above-mentioned sequence, depending
on the protect counter R value.
