2.2.2 Carriags Drive Mechanism

drive motor on this printer is a 4-phase, 2@ole, hybrid-type stepping motor mechanb, allowing
the printer to stop the carriage or change carriage movement at any position. The position cd the
carriage is reqnimd by the home positkm sensor, and poeition rnformatkm is fed back to the
carriage drive control arcuit to determine the motor phase switching mode.
