Towing the vehicle

To open the cap of the front right towing
eye: disengage the bottom of the cap and
pull downwards to remove.

The towing eye is located in the bag for
vehicle tools 3, behind the cover on the
right side of the load compartment or in
the compartment for the tyre repair kit
behind the cover on the left side of the load
compartment.

Screw in the towing eye anticlockwise as far
as it will go until it stops in a horizontal
position.
Attach a tow rope 3 – or better still a
tow rod 3 – to the eye.
The towing eye is only to be used for
towing, not for recovery.
Switch on ignition to release steering
column lock and to permit operation of
brake lights, horn and windscreen wiper.
