I am filling the bobbin but when I move the bobbin in the position to fill it does not turn

The bobbin on the Singer 4411 is not turning when filling because the bobbin winding spindle is loose and does not snap into place. This prevents it from engaging properly. Possible causes include:

1. The spindle mechanism is not locking in position when pushed to the right.
2. The internal washer or spring that engages the winding system may be stuck or dirty.
3. The handwheel may not be engaging properly if it was turned while the bobbin winder was engaged.
4. Debris or dust inside the mechanism could prevent proper engagement.

Possible solutions:
- Ensure the bobbin snaps into place on the spindle.
- Check for dirt or dust and clean the mechanism.
- Try manually wiggling the handwheel to see if the washer pops back into place.
- If the issue persists, inspect the internal components for misalignment or damage.
