    Types of Media Types of Media Brady strongly recommends the use of Brady-brand supplies for continuous high-quality printing. A wide range of paper, polypropylene, polyester, and vinyl stock has been specifically engineered to enhance the printing capabilities of the printer and to prevent premature printhead wear.

    Operations Load Ribbon Load Ribbon Always use ribbon that is wider than the media to protect the printhead from wear. For direct thermal printing, do not load ribbon in the printer. The standard Thermal Transfer option (black ribbon spindle) uses ribbon coated on the outside.

In place of this kit, you may use a clean cotton swab dipped in a solution of isopropyl alcohol (minimum 90%) and deionized water (maximum 10%). Clean the Exterior You may clean the exterior surfaces of the printer with a lint-free cloth and a small amount of a mild detergent, if necessary.
