Using the Quick Text / Macro feature

Macros are shortcuts to enter long words or phrases. For example, you can type sf
followed by SPACE and Speller replaces it with San Francisco if it is so defined.
To activate this feature, choose Quick Text/Macro from the Speller's menu. Once
turned on, it works with most Windows CE applications.
To create macros: Choose More - My Macros from Speller's menu. My Macros
window appears.
To add a new macro: Enter the macro name and the macro text, then press Save.
Note that you can only enter lowercase letters for a macro name.
To delete a macro: Select it from the list and press Delete.
To edit a macro: Double tap it from the list or select it and press Edit.

Looking up the spelling of a word

Choose Lookup Word from Speller's menu. The Lookup Word window appears. You
can lookup a word in one of two ways:
• By typing your best guess of the word, and pressing Similar Words button.
• By typing the first few characters of the word and pressing Completion button.
Press More to get more words, and press Copy to copy the selected word and paste it
to other windows.

Getting statistics of a document

Choose More/Document Statistics from Speller's menu. You are prompted to select
the text window to gather statistics. The Document Statistics window appears with
statistics such as character and word count.
